“Safari” Print Returns to the Nike Air Max 97

The Nike Air Max 97 is one of the Swoosh’s most acclaimed silhouettes, garnering popularity over 20 years after its initial release. In large part, the unique patterns and prints have made the sneaker popular among sneaker-heads and non sneaker-heads alike. In its latest form, the AM97 sees the return of a winter-suited “Safari” pattern.

Unlike traditional “Safari” collaborations with Japanese retailer atmos, this style of animal print arrives in a more muted black and white color. Below, matte black shines across the mudguard. Contrasting accents of white along the midsole bring the sneaker full circle, with a clear Air bubble sitting below. Reflective laces finish off the sneaker’s design.
