After re-imagining the “Silver Bullet “97s in Ultra form, Nike is doing the same for another beloved colorway of the 20th anniversary silhouette.

The Nike Air Max 97 Ultra “Metallic Gold” is due out later this fall. Its shimmering upper is certainly reminiscent of the shoe in its original form, as the seamless upper shifts back and forth between plush synthetics and mesh fabrication. This is just one of many Ultra 97s releasing in fall, several of which aren’t inspired by an elder colorway and represent newness in color.
