For the 2010-2011 basketball season, Nike scrapped the Hypermax silhouette, deciding instead to release the beefed up Hyperdunk 2010 with an Max Air sole and ankle strap. And while Pau Gasol opted for the lightweight Hyperize this past season, don’t be surprised to see him and the other Lakers bigs wearing these Air Max Hyperdunk 2010s come next season.
Black carbon weave lays over a Flywire-enforced upper, while a plastic heel cup is the same dark hue. As noted above, this shoe is nearly identical to its Zoom-riding forefather. Will it only be Lakers fan who find these appealing or are our other readers taking a liking to this shoe?
