The Air Max Hyperize may not have made an NCAA on-court appearance yet, but Nike is all set (unofficially) for Duke and Purdue runs to the Final Four with these special shoes. Purdue will likely not fulfill the expectations, thanks an untimely injury late in the season, but Duke’s number one seed has them primed for a national championship berth.
The “Duke” pair utilizes black patent leather on its mudguard, while blue is used on the Flywire and mesh tongue. White is used elsewhere. The other pair relies on a white majority, with gold and black helping out. Both sit on 360 degree Air Max soles and used a special tongue tag. Said tongue logo features a basketball net being cut down, an obvious nod to the NCAA tradition. Both pairs can be purchased now at Finish Line.
