With a perennial All-Star like LeBron James representing your brand, you get a lot of time to prepare the next All-Star signature shoe. It looks like that just what Nike has done for King James, as seen in these Air Max LeBron VIIs for ASW in Dallas. We’ve seen patent leather and tumbled leather cover the lower portion of this shoe in previous releases, but this is the first time we get a look at a woodgrain material, which is done here with multiple shades of blue. Light blue finishes the upper and also appears on the outsole and the base of the Flywire construction. Black is the other color used here, as it appears on the Swoosh, Flywire threading and midsole. A brown “East 2010” patch is sewn on the insole, further signifying the importance of these shoes. |
