Do not think for a second that the Nike Air Max LeBron VII will go away anytime soon. Photos of this shoe in many different styles and colors continue to flood the web consistently. The most recent to show up is this customized edition created by Beijing artist Li Quiqui.

Quiqui personally equipped LeBron James with this particular shoe at a Nike grassroots activity in Beijing. As for the makeup, this Air Max LeBron VII is inspired by many things to say the least. First off, the predominance of gold on the base represents the sun’s power and the imperial heritage of the city. In addition, the Si He Courtyard on the shoe, which spells out the letters, LBJ, pays tribute to Beijing?s one-of-a-kind architectural makeup in the beginning days of the city. Although it seems as if the lion would represent LeBron’s logo, it really stands for the two lions statues that are visible at the front antique-styled home gates in Beijing. Last but not least, a picture of an eye appears on the heel of the shoe. Quiqui says, ?The eye at the back of the shoe is my good wish to LeBron?I wish for him to always have full visibility both on court and off court.?
