Nike is making the Nike Air Max Penny 1 an emphasis in 2022 with the Orlando colorways in Home and Away as well as a collaboration with Social Status landing earlier this year. Not to be forgotten, another OG colorway returns with the “All-Star” colorway dropping soon.
Originally worn by Penny Hardaway in the 1996 NBA All-Star Game and last retroed in 2014, the sneaker features a black nubuck upper with a bootie system utilized for lockdown. Atlantic Blue accents the sneaker on the contrast stitching found throughout as well as surrounding the Swoosh on the tongue. Penny’s logo is stitched on the heel with a jeweled Swoosh on the lateral side of the wing. A black midsole with Zoom Air in the forefoot and an Air Max unit in the heel finishes off the sneaker.
The Nike Air Max Penny 1 “All-Star” is set to drop on December 6th, 2022 via SNKRS and at select retailers for $170. Check out the official photos below as well as Penny rocking them during the 1996 All-Star Game and for all the latest drop dates, head over to our Sneaker Release Dates page.
