In 1998, the Nike Tuned 1 was introduced as the first Nike shoe to feature Tuned Air technology. In 2013, the classic model is now known as the Nike Air Max Plus, and is receiving multiple prints and colorways in retro form. Tuned Air is still a staple in the model, allowing air to flow between multiple units in the midsole to maximize cushioning and impact protection. To keep up with the AM Plus’ performance capabilities, this style code places a grey camouflage design on top of a black midsole to create a flowing composition.
