The Nike Air Max Plus Gets a Cool “Copper Tongue” Makeover

With fall just around the corner, Nike is amping up its footwear arsenal with an all-new Air Max Plus accented with copper tongues. Aptly dubbed the Nike Air Max Plus “Copper Tongue,” this offering features a classic mesh upper dressed in “Sail” tones and embellished with plastic overlays.

Elsewhere clean white mudguards and suede overlays dress the toe box and rear, while “Soft Pink” highlights Nike’s ubiquitous Swoosh logo found on both the medial and lateral panels. Subtle pink tones are also incorporated onto the cage, as well as the sneaker’s outsole.

Look for the Nike Air Max Plus “Copper Tongue” to release in the upcoming weeks at select Nike retailers and Nike.com for a retail price of $160.
