Nike’s Air More Uptempo GS “Be True To Her School” Celebrates Female Athletes

For Spring 2024, Nike is bringing back its “Be True To Your School” campaign, which paved the way for varsity-style color blocking and the debut of Nike Basketball shoes for teams. This time however, the new campaign will focus on female athletes and a new slogan: “Be True To Her School”.

The Scottie Pippen-approved Air More Uptempo was originally designed for the courts but has since become a streetwear staple. For this kids-exclusive iteration, the pair is made from high-quality leather and boasts a sleek black, white and university gold color scheme. Black is used on the base while contrasting gold accents the oversized “AIR” branding and visible Air unit. Lastly, the pair nods to the “Be True To Her School” motto, which is emblazoned on the insoles.
