German unity was achieved 25 years ago in 1990. To honor the two and half century mark of this historic moment, on October 2 the Nike Air Pegasus 89 “German Reunification” will be unleashed to the masses.
That very next calendar day, October 3, marks German Unity Day, and this Nike Air Pegasus 89 gracefully pays homage to that day by uniquely adjoining uniforms worn by the West German Army (Bundeswehr) and the East German Army (NVA). A wide array of tones blanket the retro runner which features overlaying raindrop camo patterning.
