Legacy of the Nike Air Penny II
Since the initial release of the Nike Air Penny II, the legacy of it continues to rise, despite being nearly two decades old. With 12 retail releases under its belt, this silhouette has held a solid position within the landscape of Hardaway signatures. With the last retro being in 2012, we’ve seen the likes of LeBron James and Gilbert Arenas don this silhouette, one for leisure purposes and the other during games.
Venturing back to the mid-90s, hoop stars such as Paul Pierce and Rip Hamilton wore this Penny signature during their time on campus, Paul with Kansas and Rip with UCONN.
