While the news of the Air Foamposite One “Eggplant” returning for 2010 immediately got attention from readers, finding out that the classic Nike Air Penny 3 is coming in the same colorway may brighten just as many days. This is first time that the beloved sneaker will appear in the even more beloved color. Eggplant foam is slathered along the side and toe, while a white leather upper works as a base. Black appears on the liner and also on the heel loop, which features a purple accent stripe. Oddly, the purple used on above the Air bubble heel is far brighter than the eggplant, but it doesn’t detract from the overall look too much. These will hit stores in June. |
