Last year many championed the ACRONYM Prestos as the best collaboration of 2016, and you’ll find few who argue that sentiment. Nike pulls inspiration from the celebrated collab for new variations of the Nike Air Presto Mid SP.
Also looking towards ACG heritage and the colorways that pushed that movement forward, two ‘special project’ Presto Mids emerge today in Black/Olive and Sail/Purple-Orange colorways. Each boasts zipped construction at the ankle collar alongside tonal midsole tooling and laces. And while they’re aren’t a dead ringer for the ACRONYM pairs, it’s clear where Nike gassed up for creative fuel.
The Nike Air Presto Mid SP will be available at select Swoosh accounts on March 18, including INVINCIBLE.
