Recently, we showed you a variety of colorways for the Nike Air Presto, from a Cool Mint/Surf Blue-White colorway to an Orange/Black colorway. Taking a look back to earlier releases such as the White/Silver sample shown here, a number of differences can be seen. The most apparent to the eye is the use of a mesh material in the 2010 releases rather than the smooth nylon material used in the upper of this release. This particular 2002 colorway of the Presto, found through eBay, is an extremely rare sample.

Although the form fitting material used is significantly different in texture, the rest of the shoe retains its original design from the engineered “support cage” set in translucent colors, to the lightweight phylon midsole. Nike continues to validate the phrase, “if it isn’t broken, then don’t fix it,” through the recent releases of the Nike Air Presto. Comment below and let us know what you think of the changes in Nike Air Presto and recent releases of different colorways. Do you think changes in the material has helped for the better or worse? You can bid on this Air Presto sample now on eBay.
