When we first previewed an Air Royal Mid in purple, the overwhelming consensus was that Nike’s leather-wrapping trick made for a nice effect, but the purple wasn’t doing the shoe justice. If you were one of the many who felt that way, this white pair may be your answer. White leather is draped in every panel, and of course covers the mid-panel Swoosh.The upper is made with one a few pieces of leather, as the wrapping effect keeps pieces together instead of threading for the most part. Perforated leather is again used for the liner. Neither the previously seen purple pair or this all white look has been seen in stores yet, but if they do drop, are they a purchase or a pass? |
