Released for the first time back in 1987, Nike’s Air Safari has returned multiple times in the 31 years since its inception. It’s also slated to return again next week, bringing yet another Tinker Hatfield design to the forefront in anticipation of Air Max Day.
Although the Air Safari isn’t exactly an Air Max silhouette, it’s certainly of the same lineage. Produced during the same year and by the same designer, the Air Safari was of its own importance given its debut of Safari print.
Look for the Nike Air Safari to return on March 14 for $140 on SNKRS.
