Marking a union between two of the most iconic Swoosh styles over the past 20 years, the Nike Air VaporMax and the Air Max 97 join in matrimony to evoke the Air VaporMax 97. Next month, the budding hybrid is set to explore an Air Max 97 colorway originally released as a Japan exclusive.
Dressed in the 97’s traditional upper in black, Metallic Silver and Volt shades all working in unison, the latter glows through the VaporMax tooling while the base is finished with reflective 3M reinforcements.
Look for the Nike Air VaporMax 97 “Japan” on March 9 for $190 at 10am EST on Nike SNKRS.
