Nike Basketball’s Great Than series features three different sneakers based on playing style and cushioning setups and the highly cushioned Nike Air Zoom GT Jump gets a colorway inspired by Chinese culture in 2022.

The sneaker uses a half bootie construction in infrared which features white JumpWire on the overlay, which is a newer and more breathable version of Flywire which is held together by Fuse. Flywire is used underneath the JumpWire overlay for lockdown and containment. A dragonfly appears on the tongue as well as on the insole with the pulltab on the heel featuring Chinese characters.

The GT Jump uses a full-length Zoom strobel setup which sits on a Pebax jump frame for rigidity. A large Zoom unit is featured on the heel and forefoot as well, to make the Zoom Air double stacked and bring the ultimate impact protection. A nod to the past is seen on the lateral outrigger, which features a Nike Shox-like graphic. Lastly, a rubber outsole featuring a herringbone pattern and perforations to let the Zoom units expand finish off the sneaker.

The Nike Air Zoom GT Jump “China” is set to drop later this year on Nike.com and at select retailers. Check out the official photos below and for all the latest sneaker drop dates, check out our Sneaker Release Dates page.
