Nike Running has unveiled its latest member of its marquee running line as the Nike Air Zoom Pegasus 38 takes flight soon. The latest model carries over key aspects from its predecessors with slight updates for a better ride.
The modifications include a fresh last that provides more room in the toe box with a fit akin to the Pegasus 36. The silhouette also includes a new individual mid-foot webbing system that allows every runner to lace up to a personalized fit. The Nike Air Zoom Pegasus 38 includes a soft and breathable sandwich mesh material providing high-level performance for all running levels. The tongue is also constructed as a separate piece with additional foam for added comfort.
The 38 features the tuned midsole from the Air Zoom Pegasus 37 and includes full-length Nike React foam for a cushioned responsiveness and smooth transition. The shoe’s forefoot Zoom Air unit helps provide responsive energy return in every stride.
The Pegasus 38 will also include a FlyEase version with a zippered entry with no-tie lacing that secures the fit with only one hand. The Nike By You option of the 38 gives you a number of possibilities such as adjusting arch height, traction material, laces and methods of entry with a traditional or FlyEase option.
The Nike Air Zoom Pegasus 38 releases to Nike Members on April 15 in Europe, April 22 in North America, and April 29 globally. Take a detailed look at the pair below, and keep it locked on the sneaker release dates page for more from Nike Running.
