The Nike Airship Receives The “University Gold” Treatment

Along with reimaged classic Jordan silhouettes, the Nike Airship is returning in either 2022 or 2023 in the “University Gold” colorway. The Air Ship was the first sneaker 23 wore during his rookie year before he could debut his first signature sneaker with Nike.

This iteration arrives in a white leather base, with hints of university gold on the Nike Checks, tongue, and ankle collar. Other details include Nike Air branding on the tongue tag and heel, followed by a white and gold rubber outsole. Expect the pair’s build to arrive similar to the OG Nike Air Ship from the “New Beginnings Pack” from 2019.

Initially, an overseas-first release, the Nike Airship SP “University Gold” drops on January 27, 2023, for $140 on LaptsonandHammer.com and its locations.
