Although the Rio Olympics are still in full swing, Nike is already looking ahead to the 2020 games in Tokyo, in which they will again act as official sponsor for the United States Olympic Committee.
Complex’s Joe La Puma was recently gifted a new edition of the Nike Flyknit Racer commemorating the next Olympic location, Tokyo. As told by La Puma himself, the pair was hand-dyed with genuine indigo in Tokyo to ensure the utmost authenticity. What’s more, custom katakana script on the tongue translates to “Naiki.”
