Following a lengthy bout with cancer that kept him sidelined from the job he loves so dearly, NBA reporter Craig Sager made his triumphant return court side last night. As strong a fixture to the league as any player or coach, Sager is loved by all. And yes, that includes and especially Gregg Popovich. Nike Basketball, too, was feeling the love upon Sag’s return and saw fit to offer up a few KD 7 iD options for the flamboyant style connoisseur. Highlighting colorways in cheetah, snake, zebra and leopard – all of which Sager could pull of with relative ease – the sentiment felt in this simple gesture from Nike is a parallel to the uproar from hoops fans and anyone who has been affected by cancer last night. Bravo, Nike Basketball.
