The brand in Beaverton has unveiled the Nike #BETRUE Collection 2014, a pack of footwear and apparel that is inspired by the LGBT community. Celebrating the passion and pursuit of sport by all athletes, this year’s collection features colorful makeups of the Nike SB Zoom Stefan Janoski, which features hand-drawn signatures making no two pairs alike, the Nike Free OG and Nike Free 5.0. Accompanying the sneakers are City Pack t-shirts for four different notable locations. Each of the silhouettes is dressed in a rainbow of colors that reflect diversity, and the special #BETRUE print with geometric shapes and a unique pattern with the slogan embedded in.
Nike will donate up to $500,000 of the collection’s proceeds to the LGBT Sports Coalition, which releases today at select Swoosh stores, then June 5th on Nike.com.
