At first glance, this Blazer High may seem like just another in a long line of clean, single-color designs we’ve seen from Nike since this classic dropped decades ago. It’s the material that’s used here though, that makes sets these apart. A square mesh is the choice construction fabric, comprising the upper entirely. Very similar to ballistic mesh, it uses a square weave, though it appears to not be made of plastic. Matching leather is used for the wrap on the bottom of the upper and toe, as well as the tongue. Patent is used on the Swoosh and heel panel for good measure. |
