Nike has been pushing playful editions of their classic silhouettes, now launching an intelligently colored Blazer Mid, the “Label Maker”. Arriving in the classic Nike Blazer shape & material construction this edition sees subtle inclusions that allow users to express themselves.
There are calm tonal backings to each shoe featuring mismatched uppers in Grey and White in balance with one another. The pairs will ship with swooshes that can be scratched off to reveal bright colors underneath, each swoosh different. That said, there are hints as to the colors waiting underneath in the form of colorful stitching along with each swoosh. In classic Blazer form, there are suede accents along the toe vamp and outer panels. The edges of each panel on the upper are accented with a Mustard finish, giving this Blazer an aged look.
Along the top of the heel are the words “The New Way”, also on complimentarily different backings. These are followed by the word “Blazer” attached across the heel tab in a typical Label Maker form. The shoes are supported by a fully rubber outsole completing the vintage feeling to this playful pair. There have been a variety of models featuring a “Label Maker” drop recently, including an Air Force 1. These blazers will be a welcome addition to the family and look to be a highly wearable pair promoting individualism. The shoes will arrive at various retailers for the usual Blazer price of $110. With no release date announced yet keep your eyes on Nice Kicks for the latest information on this drop!
