Earlier this summer, images of Devin Booker’s Nike Book 1 signature silhouette began to surface. After receiving peeks at a bold orange option and a sleek monochromatic “Cool Grey” color scheme, we have a first look at a sleek “Ashen Slate” iteration.

The upcoming low-top Nike Book 1 “Ashen Slate” opts for an ashen slate, light carbon, football grey, summit white, and safety orange color scheme. The various hues of grey are predominately featured on the pair’s mixed textile upper, comprising rugged canvas, twill, and suede, while contrasting white arrives on the Air Zoom-equipped midsole unit. Lastly, bold orange elevates the Book tongue branding and insoles. Furthering the storytelling, the pull tab on the heel is inspired by the spine of an actual book and spotlights Booker’s year of birth, “96”.
