Nike reaches deep into its archive to ensure that ’90s representation maintains its stranglehold on modern culture. Later this spring, they’ll revive the nostalgic and wildly minimal Outburst silhouette.
Now two and a half decades since its original release back in 1993, the Outburst is the epitome vintage running and tennis aesthetics. It’s careful union of mesh and suede – later updated to leather and nylon – is as simplistic as it comes, offering both minimalism and the comfortable cool of design expression of the ’90s.
The Nike Outburst is set to release in Asia on March 1. U.S. release details for the retro have not yet been announced.
