Nike is coming back home as the “Nike by Eugene” store has opened its doors. The latest physical location is part of the brand’s newest Nike Live store rollout. The Eugene location draws from the brand’s rich history and bright future with homages to Oregon alums and Nike athletes Steve Prefontaine and Sabrina Ionescu.
The Eugene location joins the Los Angeles, New York, and Tokyo locations.
The Nike Live store aims to bring a more fluid experience for consumers and Nike plus members. The store will connect customers with Nike’s Swoosh Text as a “Nike by Eugene” store athlete will be accessible via 1:1 by texting (541) 686-3141. In addition to that, customers will be able to ship product directly from the Nike store for a more efficient process.
The store will also include Nike’s sustainable missions and other innovative features. Nike by Eugene, a LEED-certified location, will embed the brand’s Move to Zero initiative as the zero waste, zero carbon mission is at the forefront of the Swoosh.
The store will also reward customers every month with its Nike Unlock box. The in-store digital vending machine offers free products and gifts when Nike members use their Member Pass.
