With the help of Hasbro, the Nike CJ81 Elite TD is given a suitable color switch-up for the silhouette’s all-new “Megatron” colorway. Providing the shoe with an authentic armored look, matte and metallic purple is draped over the upper, with red accents serving as the predominant color’s second-in-command. To serve as a reminder for wearer’s of the shoe, in addition to Johnson himself, “Show No Mercy” is inscribed under the cross-foot strap. Incomplete without a special added touch, a Decepticon logo is embossed on the heel counter. One part of a three-kick “Megatron Rises” collection, the Nike CJ81 Trainer Max “Megatron” and the Nike Air Trainer SC II “Megatron” will be released alongside the on-field sneaker in 81 packs that will release exclusively at 21 Mercer in NYC, select Nike Yardline doors, and Nike.com.
