We were all excited to see the Nike Cortez return this year when the shoe first dropped in the iconic model worn in Forrest Gump. Releasing in a wealth of colorways – both OG and otherwise – today brings about a new look of the Cortez no one saw coming. The Nike Cortez SP does everything, well, different. Starting with the Swoosh branding, it comes in an enlarged embossed update while a mini Swoosh at the toe adds even further distinction to this special project. What’s more, corduroy fabrication takes over the tongue and heel while suede striking finds placement in its customary position at the toe and lace collar.
