Earlier this week, images of a black and smoke grey Nike Ja 1 colorway surfaced with Ja Morant’s “We Ain’t Ducking No Smoke” phrase.
Online discourse started and pointed out the irony of the quote used on and upcoming shoe after the All-Star guard was suspended 25 games in the 2022-2023 season for waving a gun for a second time on social media.
The “We Ain’t Ducking No Smoke” quote has been taped over with Morant’s signature.
