Toronto’s emergence as a fashion capital has been long overdue. In fact, many would champion the city’s native son, Drake, for expediting that process. Now, Nike is in on the movement gracing our northern neighbors with an exclusive Air Max 1.
Coincidentally releasing on December 6, the Nike Air Max 1 “The 6” employs a predominately black base alongside contrasting white mudguard and midsole. A red leaf marks the tongue in an ode to the T-Dot, while a baby Swoosh finds placement at the forefoot – as it does on select Air Max 1’s.
The Nike Air Max 1 “The 6” is available this weekend on Nike.com and select Toronto-area Nike Sportswear retailers and December 17 at select US retailers.
