Where To Buy The Nike "Electric Safari" Collection
Nike has unveiled its “Electric Safari” collection as the Summer Games take over Paris in the upcoming weeks.
The collection is composed of 55 sneakers across 32 sports, rooted in performance at the highest level for Olympians and athletes everywhere. Inspired by Tinker Hatfield’s use of the ostrich print on the Nike Air Safari OG in 1997, the collection takes a different approach to performance aesthetics by implementing the animal print in a new fashion.
We wanted to take something you wouldn’t think about in the context of performance — the Safari pattern — and create an artifact that signaled this new era of sport.
We’re bringing sport and culture together on the playing field and creating a new look of sport for the next generation.”
Caroline Abero, Sr. Director, Women’s Footwear and Apparel at Nike
The collection is headlined by its marquee models and franchises, including the Nike Air Pegasus 41, the Nike Alphafly 3, and the Nike Air Max Dn among others.
The Nike “Electric Safari” collection is available now via Nike.com and select retailers.
