React technology could be to Nike what Flyknit was when it was introduced back in 2012. An all-knowing, all-functional technology that can find a home with any shoe of any genre, React first began in the running sector and will soon transition to basketball.

Yet from a wider lens, much of these models all fall under the lifestyle realm, which is where the recently released Nike React Presto will land.

Shifting aesthetically with the aid of budding cage construction, the shoe’s traditional sock-like upper remains a focal point while the midsole resembles the widely popular React Element 87. Replacing the Presto’s foam unit which has been with the silhouette since its inception, the molded React sole impresses alongside the reshaped upper.

No release details for the Nike React Presto are currently available.

Update 4/3: Later this summer Nike will release its widely anticipated Presto React. Launching in a wide assortment of colorways, take first look at some of the styles you can expect in the months ahead.
