Nike Readies an Icy GT Cut Academy

In 2021, Nike Basketball introduced its GT Series, a lineage of on-court silhouettes. As part of that line-up’s expansion, Nike debuted the GT Cut Academy for 2024.

As the Swoosh’s most affordable court sneaker to date, the Nike GT Cut Academy is now available to purchase in an icy coconut milk, mineral, light orewood brown, and jade ice color scheme. In terms of design, Nike keeps it simple with a predominately soft textile mesh build and reinforced leather overlays. Elevating the pair are the embroidered Swooshes on the profiles and the zig-zag designs. Down below is a Zoom cushioning system housed in a speckled midsole.
