NBA All-Star Weekend is often touted as a three-day sprint fueled by parties, celebrity sightings and late nights with the squad. All of which is true. Yet, like most things, there’s more to All-Star than what can be had at surface level. Nike, always at the forefront of culturally binding issues, trends the conversation towards equal rights with their EQUALITY initiative taking over New Orleans this weekend.

The Nike Studio Be for EQUALITY experience is an interactive basketball-themed space with a focus on community and uniting people. Designed by New Orleans artist Brandan “Bmike” Odums, the layout highlights local community influencers and organizations critical to the city’s earnest and captivating warmth.

Take a look inside Nike’s EQUALITY space below. It will be open starting today from 12:30pm to 8:00pm, on Friday from 12:30pm to 10:00pm, and Saturday from 10am to 2:30 and 5pm to 11pm.
