The N7 program was created by Nike specifically for Native American tribal communities, where obesity and wellness is a serious problem. The Air Native N7 is a running shoe that was designed for the larger and uniquely shaped foot found in the Native American culture that released earlier this year. The Huarache 09 N7, which will release in November, is the next up in the series.

This Huarache uses teal, red and grey as its main color accents outside of black and white. While the color inspiration may not be as blatant as the with the Terminator “Winter Journey” Pack we saw recently, the red accent on the midsole works against the grey and teal pinstriping well. While these Nikes will likely never see retail for the general public, it’s nice to see Nike go above and beyond an “inspired-by” or “proceeds benefit” sneaker for a great cause.

UPDATE: Nike will be releasing these on Nikestore.com and in 33 select Nike Factory Stores nationwide on November 7th.
