The Nike Huarache first stepped onto the scene in 1992 as one of the most technical shoes of its time. The shoe was a dream for cross trainers with the blend of balance and cushioning that the shoes provided. The replacement of the traditional tongue with a neoprene sock gave the shoe a more “form-fitted” feel as well as more breathable than the old tech, traditional tongue.

Rather than treating the shoes to only original color ups for this release, Nike did keep it “OG” with using colorways from other classic Nike models. Colorways from unforgettable shoes like the Mowabbs and a few other ACG hits the shoes look great without looking like you are going to go into the wilderness for 40 days. A nice touch of treatment all three pairs received was a speckled painted midsole. Don’t be surprised to see speckled/splattered paint to be the new elephant print.

These are a quickstrike that have made it to our HK connect Kix-Files. Keep your eyes peeled for more ACG in the next year.
