 The Hyperdunk won’t fall by the wayside in the wake of the Nike Hyperize. This Summer, the Nike Hyperdunk 2010 version of the Hyperdunk will hit retailers, including this Comet Red/White-Del Sol colorway–the first we’ve seen to date.
Of course Flywire continues to make up the upper, just like the first model. This new version uses a gloss finish similar to the build on the Zoom Kobe V, as opposed to the see-through material used on the original. We also see that the toe box uses a finish like those on, again, the Zoom Kobe V “Away.” Del Sol yellow is used on the toe, midsole and on the print on the ankle area. The original Hyperdunk set a new standard for performance sneakers. Let’s hope the 2010 proves to be a second coming. |
