It looks like Nike’s All-Star lineup is near complete, as we’re now taking a look at the Hyperize and KD2 “All-Star” design. The Hyperize has been a staple in the NBA shoe all year, but could the KD2 serve as confirmation that Nike‘s ahead of the voting and knows Durant is a only day away from being named to his first All-Star Game? Or is that just wishful thinking?
Keeping with the trends set by the Zoom Kobe V and Air Max LeBron VII, both Hyperizes use a woodgrain upper in red for West and blue for the East. An icy white sole is used on the Western Conference’s shoe, while a translucent blue sole is put to work on the East’s. Kevin Durant’s second signature gets the woodgrain on the lower section along the mid-panel. A black Swoosh and midfoot strap contrast the bright upper, while a completely clear outsole finishes them off. Click here to check out the shoes and get a look at the uniforms each team will wear.
