The Hypermax has never been the sneaker for sleek, fast players, but was instead intended for “big men.” The 2010 version will look to change that though, at least with this colorway, which is dressed in the sports car material of choice–carbon fiber. Clearly designed for the Lakers’ road uniforms, this Nike Hypermax 2010 drapes the aforementioned material over what appears to be a Flywire construction. Patent leather appears on the heel and collar, fading from black to yellow. The Air Max 360 degree unit first seen on the Air Max LeBron VII, and more recently on the Air Max Hyperize, is used for support and is purple. No details have been released as to when this new hoops-centric sneaker will officially debut, but stay tuned for more colorways and release information. |
