It appears early links are a thing of the past, as Nike has just introduced a “Countdown to Launch” release procedure that allows customers access to a soon-to-release product’s page before that product has become available. For the launch of the Nike Kobe 9 EM Premium “Philippines”, @nikestore gave followers the product link before the designated 8am EDT launch time, and once on the page, customers could watch a countdown clock tick down until the Kobes were available, no refresh needed. Were you able to add the Kobe 9s to your cart and purchase via this new procedure? Are you glad Nike continues to develop its release tactics to combat bots and early coppers? Check out their tweets from the morning detailing the new launch style below, and give us your thoughts in the comments.
Countdown to launch. When the clock hits zero, it’s go time. No refresh needed.
