Paying homage to the days of Blue Ribbon Sports, the throwback van is fueling up in Santa Monica for its first stop with Chicago and New York City next in line.
As expected, the Volkswagen ID with roots in the ’60s and early days of the Swoosh will be selling exclusive BRS footwear with nods to the past and present.
Even cooler? The van will be giving history lessons on Nike while allowing athletes to donate old kicks to their Reuse-A-Shoe program.
The Blue Ribbon Sports Coast to Coast Tour begins today in Santa Monica, hitting Chicago on October 12 and NYC on October 15.
