Nike is currently augmenting their presence in Japan with the opening of the Harajuku location in Tokyo. To accompany this store’s opening, Nike commissioned two of Japan’s premier athletes to create their own color-up of a Nike silhouette.

Yu Darvish, the adolescent pitching prodigy, worked on the Trainer 1 AP, while Yuta Tabuse, the first Japanese basketball player to make it to the NBA, took to the Air Zoom Brave III. The Trainer possesses a white, silver, blue, and yellow upper, while the Brave III is wrapped in various golden materials.These sneakers debuted at the Harajuku store’s opening on this past Saturday, November 14th.
