The next in line to release from the five debut colorways of the Nike KD 7 is inspired by Kevin Durant’s childhood dreams of becoming a weatherman. Symbolic of the reigning MVP’s come up before he was a basketball superstar, the Nike KD 7 “Calm Before the Storm” uses shades of grey as direct representation of the darkness that preludes a storm. A light grey provides the base, while the Foamposite backing and cross-strap are a shade darker. Detailing comes in reddish mango on a printed Swoosh, KD tongue tag and outsole to finish off this calm colorway, which releases on August 16th at Nike Basketball retailers.
