Although Kevin Durant’s tenure at the University of Texas only spanned one season, his impact on the school and its community continues to hold weight. Nike honors that influence with a UT edition of his Nike KD 9.
While Nike has produced a wide range of UT specific KD’s, most have been worn by the players at UT – this pair will be worn by the women’s Longhorns squad in the upcoming Big 12 tournament. But there have been retail releases of Texas-themed KD’s. Most notably, the Nike KD 4 “Texas” that released at select House of Hoops locations five years ago.
