Kevin Durant has dropped buckets all over the world, but his random showout at Rucker Park during the NBA lockout was a display to remember. Hanging 66 points on the nets of the famous New York City court, KD literally shut down the EBC game at the streetball mecca in 2011. To remember the historical performance, Durant’s latest signature shoe is receiving a commemorative colorway. The Nike KD VI “NYC 66” features a vivid orange base and visible Air unit. Graphite accents the clementine on the large Swoosh and KD name tag, while light grey spikes on the forefoot midsole and mesh tongue.

These Big Apple KD VIs hit the bright lights next weekend, releasing August 17th at select Nike retailers. What’s your view on these luminous low tops? Type your thoughts in the comment section underneath, and keep it locked to Nice Kicks for all of your sneaker news and information.
