Following a wildly successful MVP season in the KD VI, Kevin Durant’s seventh signature sneaker is inaugurated in the form of the Nike KD VII “USA.” Two years removed from the 2012 Olympics where Durant helped Team USA take home gold, this year marks the latest FIBA World Cup for basketball. Although the Oklahoma City Thunder star is unlikely to compete in the games, it’s a safe bet to say that he will be working out with the development team to stay sharp. Now, the Durantula will have a brand new silhouette to lace up with the Nike KD VII rolled out in U.S. red, white and blue. KD’s latest stays low-cut, with a wavy foam ankle collar and a mesh forefoot that includes an oversized Swoosh with a graphic print. Flywire eyelets, a Zoom Air heel clip, “KD” logos on the tongues and a sleek cross-strap finish off the newest Kevin Durant design, which will debut in this seen “USA” colorway on June 26th for $150. Tell us if you’ll be chasing a pair in two weeks, and keep Nice Kicks streaming for much more on the KD VII.
