For the 2017 Nike Doernbecher Freestyle Collection, 11-year-old Amyiah Robinson, who is diagnosed with sickle anemia, designed the colorful Nike Air Max Thea Ultra Flyknit. And because she is from Oklahoma and is a big fan of Kevin Durant, Robinson designed a matching iteration of the Nike KDX.
The Doernbecher iteration of the KD 10 stays true to the original but sports a vibrant colorway with bright shades of blue, green, purple and black. Only three pairs of the Nike KDX Doernbecher were created but none of them will be for sale as Robinson kept a pair, one was given Durant and the last was auctioned off for $35,000.
Peep photos of the Nike KD 10 Doernbecher below and look for the entire Doernbecher Freestyle Collection to be released via SNKRS on November 18th.
